The situation in the Czech seamless pipe market is still negative. Demand from end-users remains poor due to the lack of new investment projects. Low buying abroad and at home is pulling sales down. However, seamless pipe suppliers are trying to prevent decreases in prices and have kept their quotations stable over the past month. Meanwhile, market players think that business activity is unlikely to recover in the near future.

Current export prices for 2"-3" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €960-970/mt ($1,200-1,210/mt) for July rolling, while 1/2"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,090-1,110/mt ($1,360-1,385/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 with varnish coating from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €990-1,000/mt ($1,235-1,250/mt) FCA for July rolling, while 1/2"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,120-1,140/mt ($1,400-1,425/mt) FCA.

Export offers of 3"-10" seamless steel tubes of steel grade B made to API 5L, PSL2 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €1,020-1,030/mt ($1,275-1,285/mt) FCA.
