Over the past two weeks, prices in the local Bulgarian welded pipe market have remained stable and offers for ERW pipes as per EN 10219 for the domestic market are still at €550-560/mt ($622-633/mt) ex-works. According to market sources, demand for domestic welded pipe in Bulgaria, which is slack due to the seasonal summer sluggishness of activity, has increased slightly due to the recent rises in scrap prices. As a result, while Bulgarian welded pipe producers had been about to decrease their prices, they instead decided to keep them stable as they have started to receive orders.
