Over the past month, prices in the local Turkish welded pipe market have increased by $60/mt on average as a result of the upticks in global raw material and flat steel prices. Although demand for domestic welded pipe in Turkey has been lively during the period in question, it has slackened significantly in the current week ahead of the Feast of Sacrifice holiday (Aug. 31-Sept. 4),

Turkish producers’ offers for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from hot rolled coil (HRC) of S235 grade as per EN 10219 to the domestic market currently stand at $630-670/mt ex-works.

Turkish producers’ export prices for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 are at $620-660/mt FOB.
