There have not been any significant changes in the Polish welded pipe market over the past month amid the lack of buying activity during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Polish welded pipe producers have kept their offers at the previous levels against the backdrop of slack demand. Import offers of Czech and Bulgarian welded pipes have also remained unchanged, while offers of Italian origin material have gone up by a maximum of €10/mt ($13/mt) over the period under review.
Market players think that Polish welded pipe producers may try to raise their prices slightly in the coming period due to rising feedstock costs, but demand is still too weak to allow any significant price hikes.
