Chinese domestic seamless pipe prices have followed a stable trend during the past week. Overall trading activity has been weak due to the off-season and floods. Upstream billet prices have fluctuated, with some softening. Traders have mostly kept their seamless pipe prices stable and are willing to offer certain discounts in order to close more deals. As for the week ahead, amid low demand and weaker support from the cost side, it is believed that domestic seamless pipe prices may move sideways or soften slightly.
