Demand in the local Turkish welded pipe market has remained sluggish in the past week, with buyers continuing to make bookings only to meet their immediate needs due to ongoing economic and political uncertainty in Turkey. As a result of the weak demand, the increase in local hot rolled coil (HRC) prices has not been reflected in Turkish domestic welded pipe prices.

Turkish producers’ offers for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from hot rolled coil (HRC) of S235 grade as per EN 10219 to the domestic market have remained unchanged at $520-560/mt ex-works, compared to the previous month.

Turkish producers’ export prices for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 currently stand at $520-550/mt FOB.
