The Czech market for seamless pipes has continued to remain quiet after the Christmas and New Year break, while export quotations of Czech origin seamless pipes have stayed unchanged because of a lack of export orders. It seems that any seamless pipe price increase will not receive support in the short run amid still limited buying activity for Czech seamless pipe exports.

Current export prices for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €850-870/mt ($1,001-1,025/mt), while 3/4" seamless pipes are at €990-1,010/mt ($1,166-1,190/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-4" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €880-900/mt ($1,037-1,060/mt) FCA, while 1" seamless pipes are at €1,000-1,020/mt ($1,178-1,202/mt) FCA.
