The Czech and European market for seamless pipes is currently quiet, with Czech producers keeping their export quotations steady despite the slowdown of the market during the summer holiday period. Also, market insiders are still cautious regarding the future prospects of the market due to the depressed economic outlook as the euro zone crisis continues. Czech seamless pipe producers still have no reason to make even a slight increase in prices as market conditions remain unfavorable.

Current export prices for 2"-3" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €960-970/mt ($1,180-1,192/mt) for September rolling, while 1/2"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,090-1,110/mt ($1,340-1,364/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 with varnish coating from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €990-1,000/mt ($1,217-1,229/mt) FCA for September rolling, while 1/2"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,120-1,140/mt ($1,376-1,401/mt) FCA.

Export offers of 3"-10" seamless steel tubes of steel grade B made to API 5L, PSL2 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €1,020-1,030/mt ($1,254-1,266/mt) FCA.
