US import prices of CIS origin pig iron trending stable

According to sources, CIS pig iron offers to the US have been fluctuating in the range of $330-350/mt FOB Baltic Sea for the past four weeks.

On May 4, SteelOrbis reported US offers at $340-350/mt FOB Baltic Sea. According to sources, offer prices remain stable. This price range translates to approximately $350-365/mt CFR US port.

Nodular and foundry pig iron grades are presently reported at $390-400/mt FOB Baltic Sea. This price translates to $400-410/mt CFR US port and continues to trend stable with prices heard by sources for the last month.
