In late April, SteelOrbis reported high carbon ferrochrome trading at $3,130-3,262/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

According to sources, ferrochrome is presently trading at $3,108-3,262/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. This price reflects a stable top end of the range but a decrease of $22/mt on the bottom of the range. A source noted that the range is expected to “narrow toward the top end” with third quarter negotiations in June.
