According to market sources, ex-Black Sea offers to Turkey for A3 grade scrap have increased by $5/mt week on week to the range of $255-260/mt CFR. This week, a Turkish producer has concluded an ex-Black Sea deal for A3 grade scrap to be shipped from a Crimean port at $258/mt CFR, while it is heard that early this week another Turkish producer concluded an ex-Black Sea deal for HMS I/II 90:10 scrap at $260/mt CFR. Also, the latest ex-Romania deal in Turkey for A3 grade scrap has been concluded at $254/mt CFR Nemrut. Since the scrap prices in deep sea deals for Turkey have indicated increases of $2-4/mt week on week in the last two days, a similar price increase is expected to be seen in ex-Black Sea scrap prices in the short term, with prices expected to be increased by sellers to $260-265/mt CFR.
