Turkish mills’ domestic scrap purchase prices move sideways

Friday, 15 September 2023 17:19:26 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

Over the past week, Turkish mills’ local scrap procurement prices have remained stable, which resulted in a $1/mt decrease on dollar basis due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. The general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap is still at TRY 9,000-10,150/mt ($334-377/mt).
