Over the past week, most Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap procurement prices stable. Since the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate has also remained stable, dollar-based prices have not indicated a change. One Turkish mill has decreased its price by TRY 200/mt or $7/mt during this period.

The general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap is currently at TRY 7,900-9,900/mt ($293-367/mt), from 7,900-9,950/mt ($293-367/mt).
