Turkey’s ship scrap market has remained stable in the range of $380-385/mt, for delivery to mill by truck, over the past week. Ship scrap prices in Turkey have not fluctuated in line with deep or short sea scrap prices since the beginning of the current month, providing stable prices for the Izmir-based producers.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:

Producer

Price ($/mt)

Price change ($/mt)

Özkan Demir Çelik

385

Habaş

380

Ege Çelik

All the above prices are for delivery to mill by truck.
