Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 500/mt ($8/mt) to INR 17,300/mt ($270/mt) ex-yard over the past week, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have decreased by INR 1,500/mt ($23/mt) over the same period to INR 19,500/mt ($304/mt) ex-yard.
