In October this year, local French steel scrap prices decreased for the fourth month in a row on month-on-month basis, declining sharply by €41/mt on average compared to September, according to the latest data issued by the French Steel Federation (FFA).
On year-on-year basis, in October local French scrap prices decreased by a significant €103/mt on average, as shown in the following table:
