Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 8

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 1,000/mt over the past week to INR 19,000/mt ($284/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have increased by INR 900/mt over the same period to INR 19,700/mt ($294/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved up by $10/mt week on week to $280/mt CFR.
