Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 38

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have remained stable over the past week at INR 16,000/mt ($239/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 300/mt ($4/mt) over the same period to INR 18,000/mt ($269/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained stable week on week at $230/mt CFR.
