Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 27

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 100/mt ($1.5/mt) over the past week to INR 15,200/mt ($226/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have declined by INR 300/mt ($4.5/mt) over the same period to INR 17,600/mt ($262/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices in India have risen by $5/mt week on week to $215/mt CFR.
