Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 2

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 500/mt over the past week to INR 18,500/mt ($271/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by INR 400/mt over the same period to INR 18,800/mt ($276/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved up by $10/mt week on week to $290/mt CFR.
