Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 17

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have remained unchanged over the past week at INR 21,100/mt ($329/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by INR 1,400/mt over the same period to INR 21,200/mt ($330/mt) ex-yard.
 
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have remained stable week on week at $315/mt CFR.
