Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 200/mt ($3/mt) over the past week to INR 16,700/mt ($251/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have fallen by INR 800/mt ($12/mt) over the same period to INR 18,700/mt ($281/mt) ex-yard.
