According to the latest figures provided by German steel scrap recycler association (BDSV), in the first 20 days of April domestic steel scrap prices in Germany increased by €12-19/mt ($17-26/mt) compared to the same period in the month of March. In February and March, quotations had recorded an average month-on-month decrease of €15-16/mt ($21-22/mt).
In the first 20 days of April this year, German domestic scrap prices indicated a decrease of €22-30/mt ($30-41/mt) on year-on-year basis.
