According to the latest figures provided by German steel scrap recycler association (BDSV), in the first twenty days of June domestic steel scrap prices in Germany decreased by €23-27/mt ($30-35/mt) compared to the corresponding period of May, in which prices had witnessed smaller month-on-month declines of €11-15/mt ($14-20/mt).
The biggest month-on-month decreases in German domestic scrap prices in the first twenty days of June were recorded by shredded scrap (E40) and heavy old steel scrap (E3).
