Local quotations in Japan's Kantō region for H2 grade scrap have remained unchanged compared to price levels recorded on August 11 and are still at JPY 18,500-19,745/mt ($184-197/mt) delivered to customer.
On the other hand, SteelOrbis has been informed that Japanese offers to Vietnam for H2 grade scrap as break bulk cargo which were at $230/mt CFR on August 11 have increased to $240-260/mt CFR over the past two weeks.
