A major exporter in Brazil told SteelOrbis that his most recent export deals for Galvalume were still closed at $794/mt, FOB conditions, roughly stable after a $30/mt reduction one month ago.

In October, for price deals probably closed in August, CSN exported 3,800 mt of the product to the US, at $862/mt, and 350 mt to Uruguay at $793/mt, both FOB conditions.

Pushed by the high domestic prices, around BRL 3,300/mt, ex-works, full taxes conditions except IPI, Brazil imported in October 11,900 mt of Galvalume and similar aluminum-zinc coated products at $554/mt, FOB conditions.

USD = BRL 3.39 (November 23)
