Market sources confirm that last week a steelmaker in Turkey's Iskenderun region concluded an ex-UK deal for 16,500 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap and 16,500 mt of bonus grade scrap at the average price level of $236.5/mt CFR. This price level indicated an increase of $8-10/mt compared to price levels in a deal concluded one week earlier by another UK-based scrap supplier to Turkey.
