According to sources close to SteelOrbis, a Turkish mill has concluded an ex-US scrap deal for HMS I/II 80:20 at $290/mt, shredded scrap at $295/mt, and bonus scrap at $300/mt, all prices in CFR terms.
With this scrap purchase, scrap import prices in Turkey have trended up $7/mt from the most recent ex-St. Petersburg scrap deal and $13/mt from the latest ex-US scrap deal in mid-June.
