Ex-US scrap deal in Turkey

According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer has concluded an ex-US deal for a cargo including 12,000-17,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at $287/mt CFR and 0-10,000 mt of shredded scrap at $279/mt CFR. The total tonnage of the cargo is reported to be 40,000 mt, while the rest of the cargo - with a possible deviation of +/- five percent in terms of tonnage - will consist of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $274/mt CFR.
