Ex-Europe scrap bookings by Turkish mill

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that a Turkish steel producer has concluded several ex-Europe scrap bookings, with prices at lower levels as compared to previous transactions.
 
Accordingly, an ex-UK HMS I/II 80:20 cargo has been booked at $415/mt CFR, while an ex-Belgium scrap cargo consisting of 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 and 10,000 mt of shredded scrap has been booked at $420/mt CFR.
 
In another ex-Europe scrap booking, the price of 22,000 mt of HMS I/II 70:30 was at $407.5/mt CFR, while the price for 10,000 mt of shredded scrap was at $432/mt CFR. Finally, the producer has also concluded a further transaction, with the price of HMS I/II 80:30 at $401/mt CFR and the price of HMS I at $430/mt CFR.
