Domestic scrap prices in UAE

Domestic HMS I/II 80:20 scrap quotations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have increased compared to the price levels recorded on June 23 to AED 730/mt ($199/mt) ex-yard. Meanwhile, it has been observed that demand in the UAE scrap market has failed to improve since the end of Ramadan.
 
Additionally, Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) announced it new domestic scrap prices last week at AED 650/mt ($177/mt) CPT.
