Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 47

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) during the past week to NTD 4,800-5,700/mt ($147-175/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 1,500/mt ($46/mt) over the past week to NTD 33,500-38,000/mt ($1,027-1,165/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in the middle of December.
