Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 35

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) during the past week to NTD 5,200-6,100/mt ($158-186/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 300/mt ($9/mt) over the past week to NTD 35,000-40,000/mt ($1,065-1,217/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in mid-October.
