SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,400-12,100/mt ($364-386/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,164-1,244/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late February shipments.
