SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,300-12,000/mt ($354-376/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,238-1,317/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early-to-mid October shipments.
