Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 24, 2023

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have risen by NTD 400/mt ($13/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,300-11,000/mt ($335-358/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 42,000-44,500/mt ($1,367-1,448/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-July shipments.
