Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 20

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 10,600-11,300/mt ($345-367/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 1,500/mt ($49/mt) over the past week to NTD 42,000-44,500/mt ($1,365-1,447/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-June shipments.
