Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 52

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 8,100-9,000/mt ($251-279/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 1,500/mt over the past week to NTD 36,000-41,000/mt ($1,115-1,270/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-January shipments.
