Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 48

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are still quoted at NTD 8,600-9,500/mt ($278-307/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable at NTD 42,000-46,000/mt ($1,357-1,486/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early December shipments.
