Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 47

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) since last week and are currently quoted at NTD 8,600-9,500/mt ($280-310/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt ($33/mt) to NTD 42,000-46,000/mt ($1,369-1,499/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end of November or early December shipments.
