SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are still quoted at NTD 9,100-10,000/mt ($299-329/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have trended sideways over the same period, to NTD 44,000-52,000/mt ($1,446-1,709/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for the end of October shipments.
