SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week at NTD 8,200-9,100/mt ($259-288/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged at NTD 43,500-46,500/mt ($1,374-1,469/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-February shipments.
