Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 31

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt during the past week to NTD 7,700-8,000/mt ($255-265/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 32,000-35,000/mt ($1,059-1,158/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid/late August shipments.
