SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable during the past week at NTD 6,400-7,300/mt ($199-227/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500-1,000/mt ($15-31/mt) over the past week to NTD 34,000-37,000/mt ($1,057-1,150/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late September or early October shipment.
