Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 28

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 300/mt ($9/mt) during the past week to NTD 6,400-7,300/mt ($199-227/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) over the past week to NTD 33,500-36,000/mt ($1,040-1,117/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late September or early October shipment.
