SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 6,200-7,100/mt ($192-220/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 33,500-35,500/mt ($1,035-1,096/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-September shipment.
