SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have decreased by NTD 600/mt ($18/mt) during the past week to NTD 6,200-7,100/mt ($190-218/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have fallen by NTD 1,000/mt ($31/mt) over the past week to NTD 33,500-35,500/mt ($1,027-1,088/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in late August.
