Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 15

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($9/mt) during the past week to NTD 6,600-7,500/mt ($204-232/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 32,000-35,500/mt ($988-1,096/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in the middle of June.
