Brazilian iron ore prices recover week-on-week

With an increase of iron ore prices in the Chinese spot market, coupled with slightly reduced ocean freight rates, export iron ore prices in Brazil has increased by an estimated $5/mt in one week.
 
Sinter feed fines of 65 percent iron contents are now traded for export from Brazil at $56/mt, lumps at $59/mt and blast furnace grade pellets at $101/mt, FOB conditions.
 
In the Brazilian domestic market, the prices are now $50/mt for sinter feed fines, $53/mt for lumps and $95/mt for blast furnace grade pellets, ex-works, no taxes included.
