Australian and Indian iron ore prices continue to fall

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Australian PB fines with 61.5 percent iron content are quoted at $135-137/mt CFR in China, decreasing by $3/mt as compared to mid-May, while the price for Australian Yandi fines with 58 percent iron content has indicated a decline of $2/mt as compared to mid-May and is now at $122-123/mt CFR.
 
In the meantime, SteelOrbis has further learned that the price of Indian fines with 63-63.5 percent iron content is now standing at $137-139/mt CFR, while the price of Indian fines with 61-62 percent iron content is currently standing at $127-129/mt CFR. Both price ranges have decreased by $3/mt as compared to mid-May.
